PLANNED OUTAGE NOTICE

Customers in the 2100 blocks of Carlton and Sierra will be part of a planned outage beginning at 9 a.m. on Nov. 4. This outage is expected to last until 4 p.m. Sunflower Electric, Southern Pioneer’s generation and transmission provider, will be replacing a pole that supports the line going into the alley. We will also be replacing several structures and doing routine maintenance at that time.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will work to keep customers up to date with new information if the outage is extended and when power is restored.

Southern Pioneer Electric to Reinstate Late Fees

Beginning December 1, Southern Pioneer Electric will reinstate its formerly suspended Late Fee Policy. The reinstatement of late penalties will only affect customers with delinquent bills. Customers will not be subject to any previous fees associated with delinquent payments prior to December 1 – only those incurred on or after December 1, 2021. Customers with current balances will not see a late fee on their bills.

Southern Pioneer Electric Cancels 2022 Youth Tour Program

Due to the current health concerns facing our country, Southern Pioneer Electric has made the decision to withdraw our participation in this year’s Youth Tour program.

This decision has been made with a heavy heart, however, the health and safety of our customers, and future customers, remains our utmost priority.
