What To Do If The Electricity Goes Off
First, check the fuses or circuit breaker. Then check your neighborhood to determine if the electricity is off in your area. If the area electricity is off, call Southern Pioneer and report it. Power outages, trouble calls or emergencies may be reported to Southern Pioneer at 866-668-8800 or 620-624-7309, 24 hours a day.
When reporting an outage, please report:
- your name and phone number
- location of the service and account number, if available
- all information pertaining to the outage to help Southern Pioneer personnel locate the problem so power may be restored quickly
Life-Sustaining Medical Equipment
If you or any member of your family use essential life-sustaining medical equipment prescribed by a physician, please let us know. Please make Southern Pioneer personnel aware of this so we can contact you to let you know about scheduled power interruptions for maintenance purposes.
Please be sure to acquire a back-up power supply (batteries, generator) for any medical equipment that requires a constant power supply.
